Parable of the Dancing God
“The attraction of Jesus Christ lies in the fact that He did not condemn people; He accepted them. He did not radiate condemnation like the Pharisees; He radiated acceptance.”
This short book by Baxter Kruger is one of the best expositions of the parable of the (prodigal’s) father that I’ve read. Why did Jesus tell this story? To demolish the Pharisee’s perverted idea that God is a bookkeeper who keeps tabs. Turns out God is “a divine sprinter who runs after sinners, who throws parties for those who have not and cannot possibly qualify for His favor.”
This book is good and it’s free. What more do you want? Download it here in pdf form from the author’s own website, DancingGod.org.

Wow, the fathers love really got me again.
Paul, I really have a problem interpreting some stuff through this revelation of the fathers love.
(Handing someone over to satan, letters to the churches in revelation, the judgement of god in hebrews 10 (or is it 11).
I am a father since last week now – jippieh – and I am not a better father than he is, I would not hand my son over to satan?
And this scriptures always seem to make the “too good to be true gospel” appear not that good.

Tobi, congrats on becoming a father! I guarantee you, you’re going to see everything differently now! Rest assured the Father loves us even more than you love your own child. Regarding the Revelation churches, I have written a few posts which can be found in the archives. Regarding Hebrews 10 I recommend this post by Cornel Marais.

Started the Derek Prince book. Thank you for transcribing(?) this sermon.
The two german words on page 18. are written “Krankheit” which means sickness and “Schmerz”(pain) – if you want to correct it.
You have readers in germany!
Thank you.

Thanks Tobi. One of these days I’ll get around to fixing that. It’s not a small job. I had a computer malfunction about 6 months ago and lost a bunch of files including my original Word document of that book.

Thank you for offering this for free, usually I buy books often, but now we have been hit by a financial drain, and I need to wait before I can purchase anymore books. It feels wonderful when I can receive christian base knowledge and blessings for free when I am in such crisis, rather than being stuck or left out when the rule is to give this certain amount of money and I will give you this or you will receive God’s blessing one hundred fold or some miracle if you plant this seed in this amount and no less. Yes, I believe in planting seeds, but not being left out when financial lack has occurred. When this situation happens, any person who’s mind is cluttered with problems and just do not remember or know the word of God, will just sink and sometimes to no return. Thanks for your consideration, you have most definitely been a tremendous help for us in this time. Also, thank to a friend who recommended your book.
