    • In my comments about communion, I want to set my own as an example.
I have been Baptize and have had my first communion but I am now having unworthy manner and I really fear to eat again.
But sometimes I always in my mind know that
I can ask for forgiveness but still having fear to eat.
But I heard that if we commit sin and ask for forgiveness we should be forgiven.
Even Peter himself ask Jesus,if someone
Commit sin against me seven times
Should I forgive the person seven times?
Then Jesus said to Peter not seven times
      But seventy times seven.
So I do really understand that sin is in human heart,so if you know from your heart that you
have been changed,I know that you will be forgiven.
Then why is it that pastors are making us confused not to ask for forgiveness whilst commit sin and have communion, instead they have making it very fear.
But there communion is for unworthy manners to become holy in Christ.
So in my comments is that unworthy manners
Can change from unworthy manners to become a worthy then to have our holy Communion.

      • Brother, you have been forgiven forever, you cannot become unworthy ( by your own actions) when Christ counted you worthy before you were even born, apart from your actions! Taking communion in an unworthy manner does not mean having done something you shouldn’t have, maybe Paul Ellis could speak to what it does mean sometime.

      • This is a case where context is very important please read vs 20-22. Some were eating all the emblems and drinking all the wine and getting drunk. They were not discerning the significance of the emblems the body and blood of our Lord. They were acting like starving gluttons sort of speak. when poorer brothers came later the ones who could did not have wine or bread there was nothing left and so were not able to share in the rembrance of the Lord Paul admonished them to not partake in this unworthy way. They should examine themselves before partaking. Do I understand the significance of what this bread and wine stand for. Perhaps some were treating the bread and wine as they would common food items. So Paul asks if your hungry you should eat at home. You should wait for all to arrive so each can s partake as brothers and sisters in Christ.

The unworthy here is a reference to the almost disrespectful lack of discernment in the way some viewed the moment and they’re nonchalant attitude some may have had. So examine yourself understand the gravity and joy of the moment. Be eager to share it with others and so partake in a worthy way appreciating and remembering What God and Jesus did for you my brother.

The partaking is in rembrance of Jesus and every partaker is a sinner aware or not. James says we all stumble in many ways if you have a problem seek the Lord And be thankful that he died for your sins before you even committed them and you can not be condemned if Christ is your savior. However we always battle against our flesh and do our utmost to walk in the spirit. You have been saved and forgiven completely (Heb.)

Romans8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.

  2. God bless you brother. You have brought me back to Jesus Christ. He is the only way! The grace has saved me. When will you be in the Detroit metro area or close to me. Thank you for being a teacher of grace and showing the way by the truth written in the bible! Amen!amen!amen! I would enjoy meeting you one day when Spirit brings us together. Keep in the faith and gods angels watch over you always. Amen!

This is indeed a glorious work. Thank you for unveiling God’s true Love to the world….

  22. Someone posted Colossians 1:22 that we are presented holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation. But please help me with verse 23 which says, “if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel.” Verse 23 makes it sound like I can lose my salvation. I do believe in eternal security of the believer through the finished work of Jesus but I want to be prepared when approached by the anti-grace, works, crowd. Thank you. My email is dg1j@yahoo.com.

    • David, I have written a post on Col 1:22-23 and it will come out soon as part of my ongoing study on security. (See this page.) To ensure that you don’t miss it, I recommending signing up for free updates. On a personal note, Col 1:23 was one of the key verses that helped me come to the revelation of grace. I had always read it as conditional salvation. Then one day… THUD. The scales fell off. Stay tuned!

      • Thank you very much. I do look forward to seeing your post regarding Colossians 1:22-23.

Just what I’ve been looking. i used to wonder why most preachers pose this question to the congregation: are you sure you will make heaven? are you righteous?. virtually all congregants will not dare answer in the affirmative.i began asking am i safe? for sometime my zeal for soulwinning dropped because i was not sure if i was saved. for most sermons heard, it was live right and obtain heaven.one little fault and you miss it. the issue was compounded by other reports on the internet of people who claim to have experienced hell or had visions of hell. some of them claim seeing belivers in hell for one or more sins named on them.fear gripped me.what then is the essence on believing on Jesus’ perfect work?.thanks Paul.i am enlightened.i will share this with others.God richly bless you.

your posts have been realy inspiring. They are truly life-changing. They have my life from the beleif in death dealing religion and the condemning ministry of the law. my life is not the same again for I have realized the blessing Gospel of Grace. Glory be to God for using you brother Paul to change my life and lifes of many. You are indeed the blessed of the lord.

  41. Thank You Jesús

  42. Grace is greater than sin. It swallows it up. This is because what God did in and through JESUS,THE LAST ADAM, is GREATER than what SATAN did in and through the first Adam. In Adam we were CONDEMNED. In CHRIST all who simply BELIEVE are made RIGHTEOUS, NEVER to be condemned.

Just got done talking to our youth pastor about the finished work of Jesus. All he wanted to talk about was his tradition of “asking for forgiveness”. Scripture always wins over tradition. He left pretty heated…I thanked Jesus for His truth and finished work!!!!

  44. Dear Paul, thank you so much for this site. Refreshing…inspiring…honest. Been a Christian for over 40 years…worn out and had given up trying to please God. Heard a chap read from the children’s Bible about Adam and Eve’s fall in the garden. He read, “It made God very sad that people would believe the lie that He didn’t love them anymore” Some lights went on in my heart…I stopped praying Ps 51 over myself, and begging God to forgive me. I said, ” I will believe God loves me, no matter what! By God’s amazing grace I have found so much help to continue to believe this. Thank you for mentioning Malcolm Smith’s book, which I purchased….amazing. Don’t know if I can say this, and please delete it if not appropriate, but there are free webinars by Malcolm at this site http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtkmeXCDtIU. God bless you and all who preach the Gospel. Leanne

    • A long time ago – when I was first coming out of legalism and into true GRACE, I read about this woman who prayed on her knees on a wooden floor for 3 hours every day – asking for forgiveness, yet she never could feel forgiven. huh! A wise woman who lived next door told her to get off her knees and thank God for the forgiveness she had already received, put some salve on her knees, and stop that useless begging, as believers we are not beggers!! Amen!!

  45. Its a big undeserved favor already to get grace messages in my email… yet still get a free book? unbelievable!.. Grace abounds indeed!

Wow, you’re not gonna believe this, but I actually wanted to write a Christian book with the exact title “Escape to Reality”. I just loved the way it sounded and it was so true. Finding Christ was truly the escape I needed and it was more real than anything! I settled for making a blog on Blogger. Now, years after I came up with what I thought was an original idea for a title, I stumble across your blog titled just that as I googled Hebrews 10:26. (Which I really loved and appreciated your explanation of it. It brought peace to my soul.) But I was just in shock when I saw Escape to Reality- a Christian blog that I had no part in creating! I guess there really is nothing new under the sun! Awesome job and thanks! 🙂

  49. thank you Pastor Paul for sharing great insights to all of us. your posts and book GITW has
blessed so many people. continue everything! Godbless you.:)

  50. Awesome source of information & strength God bless y’all
