Top 20 Joseph Prince Quotes

A game I sometimes play is I switch over to the local Christian TV channel and see how long it takes for the preacher of the moment to mix law with grace.

It’s not a game I enjoy!

The more I appreciate the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice, the more sensitive I become to those who try and tell me it was not sufficient, that I need to do stuff to stay forgiven/holy/righteous.

Nothing upsets me faster.

A few months ago I was playing this game and I came across Joseph Prince, a Singaporean preacher of grace. What a breath of fresh air is this man! Don’t be deterred by his accent or style, if that’s not your thing, and miss the substance of what he preaches. He is a giant in the world of TV preachers and we watch him regularly.

If you’ve never heard him preach, you’re missing out. Mr Prince is an excellent communicator. He makes deep water revelations simple and easy to grasp. To give you some idea of this, I have picked 20 of my favorite quotes from his outstanding book Destined to Reign.

1. “The law justified no one and condemned the best of us, but grace saves even the worst of us.” (p.124)

2. “God does not leave you wondering whether you are saved or not. He tells you outright that you are His and that nothing can ever separate you from the love of Christ. Not even sin because His blood is greater than your sin!” (p.95)

3. “The way some people portray God today creates the false impression that His mercy lasts for a moment, but his anger lasts forever!” (p.211)

4. “Even though the law is holy, just and good, it has no power to make you holy, just and good.” (p.16)

5. “Sometimes, when I hear the way some preachers preach, I really wonder, has the cross changed anything? The system of being blessed when you do good and being cursed when you fail was already in place before Jesus came. Why are they still teaching that we are under that system today?… Don’t negate the cross of Jesus. The cross of Jesus changed everything.” (p.295)

6. “Knowing that you are completely forgiven destroys the power of sin in your life.” (p.100)

7. “I have been accused of being an antinomian (someone who is against the law of Moses). The truth is I have the highest regard for the law. And it precisely because I have the highest regard for the law that I know that no man can keep the law… It is us grace preachers who have the highest regard for the law!… I am for the law, for the purpose for which God gave the law… God did not give the law for us to keep. He gave the law to bring man to the end of himself, so that he would see his need for a Saviour.” (p.122-3)

8. “Anyone who doesn’t focus on Jesus Christ and His finished work has neither the wisdom of God nor the power of God…” (p.199)

9. “Believers are often exhorted to repent from sin. However, in the New Testament we are actually exhorted to repent from dead works. You see, sin is simply the fruit, dead works are the root…. Dead works are not sins. They are the religious things people do, thinking that by doing these things, they are gaining righteousness with God. If you pray because you think that praying makes you right with God, that’s a dead work. But if you pray because you are right with God and you know that He loves you, there is power there.” (p.234)

10. “Let me teach you how to discern if the grace teaching that you are hearing is doctrinally sound. When you hear the new covenant of grace preached, it is always Christ-exalting. It always reveals more and more of Jesus… There is no grace without Jesus…. Grace is not a doctrine. Grace is a person and His name is Jesus. Therefore, there is no grace teaching without Jesus Christ. You cannot separate Jesus and grace!” (p.32)

11. “The law is about you looking at yourself. The new covenant is all about you seeing Jesus.” (p.196)

12. “There are still people who insist that we have to preach on repentance. Well, I disagree! I think we should do it God’s way – preach the goodness of God and allow the goodness of God to lead people to repentance. Such repentance will be true repentance. It will not be motivated by the fear of judgment and indignation. It will be a genuine repentance that is motivated by His grace, unconditional love and compassion. After all, our ability to love God stems from our first tasting His love for us.” (p.232)

13. “True repentance from the heart results from a revelation of God’s immense and unyielding love.” (p.232-3)

14. “The Holy Spirit never convicts (Christians) of your sins. He never comes to point out your faults…. It does not take a revelation from the Holy Spirit to see that you have failed. However, when you know that you’ve failed what you do need is for the Holy Spirit to convict you of your righteousness.” (p.135)

15. “Sin does not stop God’s grace from flowing, but God’s grace will stop sin.” (p.249)

16. “Look at all the people who received miracles from Jesus during His ministry on earth. Not a single one of them deserved it. They did nothing to earn their miracles… On the other hand, we don’t find any record of those who were trying to deserve blessings from God – the Pharisees – receiving anything from Jesus!” (p.278)

17. “A Christian cannot commit the unpardonable sin… There is no sin the Christian is not forgiven of.” (p.90-1)

18. “We don’t have to confess our sins in order to be forgiven. We confess our sins because we are already forgiven. When I say ‘confess our sins’, I’m talking about being open with God… Confession in the new covenant is just being honest about your failures and your humanity. It is the result of being forgiven and not something you do in order to be forgiven.” (p.104)

19. “People give their lives to sin when they feel rejected and unwanted. But when they know that they are God’s beloved, no temptation can succeed against them.” (p.296)

20. “Beloved, there is nothing you can do today to make God love you more, and there’s nothing you can do to make Him love you any less… Beloved, it’s not enough that you know that God loves everyone. You need to know and believe that He loves you, and let that revelation burn in your heart, especially when you fail.” (p.300-1)

We received Salvation at the cross. When we are Saved, we become born again into God’s family. We have a home in Heaven, because of Grace. We still need to confess our sins to keep our Annointing. I believe pride enters into a unrepentant heart, and hinders your Christian walk. In prayer, give God thanks, confess sins you know, and even the ones you dont know. Its not wise to lose your rewards, because you dont want to confess your sins as a Christian. Confess your sins to God, not man. Its between God and you anyway. Christians will be judged, albeit differently.

      • How can anyone confess the sins they don’t know? This is the sort of religious pronouncement that cripples people with unholy yokes of dead works. The one who has been cleansed by Jesus does not need to be cleansed again (John 13:10). There is nothing in the Bible that supports what you are claiming, not even 1 John 1:9. There is healthy confession and unhealthy confession and what you propose is most definitely the latter.

      • Saved once, saved forever.
The glory of the gift of salvation belongs entirely to God and not to anyone else (My glory I will not give to anyone. – Isaiah 42:8).
Many Christians are in religious bondage because of teachings filled with error. In other words, teachings that are unbiblical. We need to be like the Bereans in the book of Acts who didn’t take even the teachings of the Apostle Paul without checking the Bible first. For this God commended them.
        Peace.

We are no longer under the law, but the law shows how Holy and Perfect, God is.We have Jesus as our mediator acting on our behalf, confessing us to the Father. God is still Holy and Just, even if we are justified through Christ. Out of fear and respect for the Almighty, we still should respect His law. I am not advocating legalism. I believe Faith is very important, and Grace abounds. We are to be united in Christ, but I sin daily as a believer. I still need to repent from my sins and turn to God. The Christian lifestyle is a daily walk, not just on Sundays.

    • So I guess “respect for the law” means you avoid pork, wear clothing woven only with linen, isolate family members who have skin diseases, and refrain from working Friday night through Saturday night?

    • Graduate from “law” school into son-ship. Galatians 3:24-25 The law was a tool nothing more. Does saying so disrepect it? Not in the least. God is the one who set the law up as a shadow type of Christ and to show that no one can perfect themselves in the flesh.
We are already united with Christ. 1 Corinthian 6:15

  5. Hi Paul
When discussing grace and law (work) I always end up back in the garden off Eden where the decision to work was made , the Lord of the Sabbath (rest) was available and no command was given to not eat off him. Unfortunately the path off work was chosen, the other fruit, mans work.By their fruit you shall know them. The tree off life has returned to us with the same original offer in a very convincing package it is mind boggling that we after all this time and with this LAST offer we could still choose to eat the fruit of work we are walking up the steps (work) to the alter and uncovering our nakedness, there seems to be many that have exposed themselves. Even the Lords work is complete he now SITS beside the father. BUT WE STILL WORK !!!. The high priest sitting down in the most holy place any Jewish pharisee would start tearing garments at this.

I could go on and on but enough said I cannot help expressing myself strongly on this topic, the opposition is understandably as strong.

You can be saved and REST.
Alternatively you can be saved and work work work work work work work funny thing about work it seems to have no end.NO REST , A POSSIBLE CURSE , YOUR SWEAT A CURSE????

God bless you Paul you, remind me of another Paul I know well.

  6. Don’t any of you be fooled by Joseph Prince! He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing leading people astray! He teaches some good things, but he teaches ALOT of bad!! He teaches that God doesn’t convict of sins and that we don’t have to repent!! That’s not true!! A man who teaches half the truth has defiled the gospel and perhaps unknowingly spoken lies!! Please read the bible and don’t just listen to him. In The whole New Testament, Jesus and his apostles taught repentance, baptism for salvation, an stay faithful and keep repenting. Jesus message was about that He paid for us and took our sins, but what He did is give us the chance to be baptized and forgiven by God, but we must constantly live for God an repent of our sins. He gave us the ability to be forgiven and have our sins taken away, but we have to work for it and live like Christians. And no we can’t earn our salvation but we still have to live an work for Jesus! Please read all scriptures about these subjects. Mr. Prince doesn’t teach everything that Jesus taught. You mustn’t follow any teacher who even deviates a little from God’s teaching!! We want to follow Jesus!! Not Joseph prince. Keep that in mind. And I say this out of love and care. 🙂

    • Hi Christian, JP is not the only “wolf” who says God doesn’t convict of sins. I say the same thing here. The teaching that the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins is not only unbiblical, it’s a form of bondage that ties manmade yokes around the necks of the free. It has people saying of salvation, as you do, that “we have to work for it,” which insults the spirit of grace. You are right that we must follow Jesus but you are wrong if you think that means trying to play the role of Savior. Only Jesus can save you.

    • So you are saying that we do not have to “earn” our salvation but we have to work for it too???? (It’s like saying get your free car for only $2000)Eternal life is an unearned gift not the wages of righteous living.Romans 5:15-18 & 6:23. Works and grace are exact opposites. Romans 4:4-5 We are forgiven and purified by Jesus one time blood sacrifice for all sin forever. Hebrews 9:24-26, 10:10&14. We overcome the world by faith not by doing. 1 John 5:4-5 & 11-12. Grab a Strongs concordance and look up the definition of “repent” and see what it really means with your own eyes.

  7. Wow! Thank you for this beautiful message of freedom. I have struggled with OCD for most of my life and brought it into my faith life when I became a Christian – confession became a compulsive behavior that I believed I had to do just right in order to be forgiven. Something about it never seemed quite right though, because it didn’t feel like freedom. My spirit resonates with this message of forgiveness!!!!

  8. Hi, Paul. Thanks for your ministry. I’m just praying through some of this. One of the posts I did read said to disregard the Lord’s Prayer, because it was pre-crucifixion. Does that also apply to Jesus’ other teachings, like the parable of the talents, etc? Stewardship doesn’t seem to readily fit into some of Pastor Prince’s book. Is there a teaching in your stance that says that God is incomplete without us? Again, thanks for your time.

    • James, I guarantee that nothing you read here will suggest you disregard the teachings of Jesus. What I would say is make sure you interpret his teachings through his finished work on the cross and to keep in mind that much of what Jesus was preached was intended for Jews living under the law.

  9. Anyone who lives in Charleston, SC and is looking for a fabulous “PURE” Grace church must check out New Vine Church! Totally based on the teachings of Joseph Prince…

  10. Reading Destined to Reign was one of the means God used to set me free from condemnation and help me understand in a personal way of His love for me. It has been life changing. I have never listened to those who preach what I referred to as the Prosperity Message. His teachings are GRACE filled (JESUS filled) and I did not find anything blasphemous. He uses scripture to support everything he is saying. The fruit in my life has been that of the Holy Spirit since the revelation of these great truths. It is one thing to hear, quite another to actually experience for the first time, the realness of God’s love. His wrath is being stored up for the ungodly. He is not angry with us as Christians. I always felt God was mad at me, waiting to punish me for something. He will discipline us for our own good, but only out of love. It is so much easier to be obedient now. I don’t want to sin against Him. My life has been a train wreck the past year and yet the best year of my life. Because God is good. All the time.

  11. I thank God for His marvelous Grace (Jesus) It only took me about sixty years to understand Christ’s finished work on the cross. What a wonderful release! I read the book “Grace Rules” authored by Steve Mcvey, and it opened my eye’s about the Finished work of Christ. One day my wife said there was a preacher on TV, that I might enjoy, and that preacher was Joseph Prince. What a blessing to hear the pure gospel of Grace. Thank you JP.

The new pastor at our church preaches that God murdered Jesus for us..It left me speechless. Now I have heard several other TV preaches say the same thing.

    • That’s unbiblical. Jesus himself said, “Nobody takes my life from me. I lay it down of my own accord” (John 10:18).

      • rose kabat // April 22, 2013 at 11:30 am //

I wrote a TV preacher after he said God killed Jesus for us. He sent this letter- I quote:

The word of God says God predetermined Jesus’ death on the cross. Everything in Scripture indicates that God orchestrated every detail of Jesus’ death. The Jews turned Jesus over to the Romans, the Romans crucified Him, but it was the hand of God that put Jesus on the cross. Godless men were only instruments in the hand of God who used them to accomplish His will.
This Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. Acts 2::23

At the church I left after 20 years when I went round and round with his statement that God murdered Jesus, the pastor said if you want to you could say God committed suicide. I asked him if he tells his 3 children that God so loved the world that He murdered His Son for us. What kind of madness is this?

People that have been at that church for years never blinked an eye and think he is a good preacher and his church is growing????

Jesus had a free will. He chose to do the will of His Father.
God sent Him out of Love for us. And Jesus gave Himself because of His love for us.

  14. Pastor Paul, This Changed my point of view by the grace of God.. i was reading it from the 1st comment and i’m on it’s half way.. later i will contine to read it. 16. Never mind what people are saying about you, just keep preaching and teaching the right Gospel.

  17. I get so excited when I find someone preaching the Gospel of Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I’ve come across some websites attacking Joseph Prince and sawing seeds of hate and distrust against him among the people. I pray for them for their eyes to be opened and for the people that they affect. I was one whose eyes were wide opened two years ago, the gospel I heard from Joseph Prince gave me back my joy, my peace, my health and I keep getting things back. I fell in love with Jesus again. For two years I’ve been glued to his teaching day and night and from the same Grace received I also started a blog in Spanish to spread that beautiful gospel of Grace at http://www.linofino.us. Thank you for your site and your time to do this. May God continue to use you among your people.

  18. I have to comment, I too recently found Joseph Prince on the tv.I live in the US.After seeing him almost every day now for several months, I have decided that I like the way he teaches the bible. It’s always been such a mystery to me.Never could understand the meanings behind the writing.Ptr.Prince has shown me how he does it and it all seems very clear most of the time.I have always believed in Jesus Christ and God.Sometimes I wonder which is which but I now believe the hell in my life is always Satan trying to get my soul.It would be much easier to do than most folks believe. We are only a step away from Satan ever at any given time in my opinion.I’ve had much help from above, Jesus and his father and their helpers. It’s always an honest surprise when I receive from Above. But since I’ve been walking and talking with Jesus since I could walk and talk myself,I have found nothing better to believe in or anyone better to believe.Aside from my living my life as it’s presented everyday to me I always try to help people who ask for help or seem to want it.Even if it’s only a kind word they need, they get it from me and what propels me to give it. No one knows me and few remember my name. But they will say to others, she’s blessed or she gives good hugs that last for days. That is my help taught to me from Jesus himself. Bless you all and Bless Joseph Prince.

  19. if theres a sin that cannot be forgiven it’s the sin of unbelief. let us stop disqualifying people, for Jesus made everyone qualified. now its up to us to believe what has been done on the cross 2000 years ago. for the Pastors who preached Grace keep on, why focus on sin? know that what you focus on becomes the idea of your reality, so lets focus on Grace. And that is Jesus.

  20. I get so excited about Jesus Christ and I so love this idea of Grace. It all just makes my heart sing. Joseph Prince has helped me to understand the bible and I love the Gospol of Grace. It all just fills my heart with love and excitment for the Lord that it’s hard for me to express. I thank him everyday for the day and for anything that he gives me. I try never to complain about what I don’t have at the moment as I know that Jesus will see to my needs when the time is right. This is something I have always believed even as a little girl. He has not let me down. For that I am ever so grateful. To understand Grace and how it’s always fit for me is such a blessing. To be able to articulate it is important to me. Thank you and bless everyone.

  21. AWESOME REVELATIONS IN GOD’S WORD!!! 🙂

  22. God is good all the time…praise him

    1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The bible is not complicated. It states plainly that if we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive!!! So I would rather believe the bible. Confessing is not a work, it is acknowledging Gods work on the cross by telling him that I have sinned, please forgive me. Jesus died for all human race, even when I was an unbeliever He forgave my sin on the cross, but I could experience it only when I turn to Him. In the same way, even though God has forgiven my sin, I cannot experience His forgiveness, if I don’t come to Him. The prodigal son came to the Father and confessed that He had sinned. When we sin we have a right as children of God to confess to Him and get forgiveness for our sins. Let no doctrine prevent us from doing it.

    • So you confess “ALL” your sins? Every single day? Not missing one? Wow! And what about sins committed that you may not know are sins, but are according to the high standards of God’s law – you confess them to?

If your reply is a justification as to why we don’t have to confess every sin and how 1 John 1:9 doesn’t mean everything and how we shouldn’t take it literally… then you yourself have established your own doctrine regarding this scripture.

If you do all this confessing then do it rightly. But that sure is a whole lot of focus on you and not on Jesus. An unhealthy preoccupation with sin instead of being occupied with Jesus and the souls He died for.

When I miss the mark – here is what I do.

      1. Remind myself that I’m not under the law but under grace.
      2. Thank God for the awesome price He paid so I can walk in complete forgiveness.
      3. Run boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in my time of need.

Like the Apostle Paul… I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.

      4. Lastly, I get up and continue to press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!!!!

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!

    • Looks up the word confess in the Greek. It’s actually the word meaning change your mind. You need to read the prodigal son again because the father ran to his son and hugged him before he “confessed”. The point isn’t that you can’t confess your sin to God which is fine but your better off being conscious of Jesus than constantly conscious of your sins my friend.

    • David Harry Johnson // November 21, 2015 at 2:21 am // Reply

Right dear it’s another kind of confession. Bug we r to confess once at the time we believed and ekse then when we again committed since & we should ask for his parental forgiveness not judicial.

Blessing is not the criteria of truth. To be blessed does not confirm truth.
Grace works and works mightily for righteousness; if there is no evident righteousness there is no Grace.
FLEE! Flee from Joseph Prince: he is a worker of iniquity and a false teacher. If it sounds too good to be true; it is. His heresy will lead to you to universalism. If you do not grieve mourn and wail, if you do not share in the sufferings of Christ, you will not share in his Glory.
The Spirit convicts and only the Spirit. If there is not conviction, there is no Spirit.

    • This is so scary I am sure Satan has even gone to hell to hide.Have you got any good news that is not to good to be true.

  25. How lucky you are to have seen Joseph Prince preach so many times! Thank you for these quotes- I agree- this man is “lit”-his understanding of the Bible and his feeling that the Gospel is not being preached has pretty much saved my life. God is working through this guy.

  26. I believe we confessing our sins is not asking forgiveness from God which Jesus has already died on that cross for our sins…

  27. Hi Paul. Its is refreshing to hear a pastor preaching on the grace of God this way. I love Jesus and have Gods passion for His amazing grace, and am a huge fan of Joseph Prince. My local church I belong to are not fully convinced of all the preaching on this. I would love to visit your church if this is the way you preach. What church do you run please?

    John H.

    • I run the “church” of Escape to Reality, and you’re in it. If you stand up, one of the ushers will give you a welcome bag. Please make yourself a coffee after reading this post. 🙂

Jesus didnt come to change the law, but to fulfill the law. The sacrificial law was done away with at the cross. Jesus by the shedding of His sinnless blood and His death on the cross has appeased the wrath of a Holy God against the sin of all mankind. There is no more need for the sacrificial death of animals and the sprinkling of blood Jesus fulfilled the law. The Lord Jesus did not do away with the moral Law! We are still under the moral law, we still can have only one God, we still can not use His name in vain, we are still to honor our mother and father, we can not steal, we can not lie, bare false wittness against our neighbor, we can not commit adultery, we can not covet, nor can we commit murder. Jesus took it to a higher standard He said if you look with lust you have commited adultery, if you have hatered in your heart you are a murder. We are to follow Christ, turn from our sin and walk in obedience to His commandments, this is not greivious His yoke is light, true grace gives us the power to live a Holy life through the power of the Holy Sprite. Don’t be deceived God is not mocked. In the last days teachers will come and tickle the ear. If you fall in to sin repent and call upon the Lord for forgiveness, He is faithful and full of mercy He is our advocate. But we must strive to walk in odedience to the commandments of the Lord. READ the letters in RED. There is on more condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus that WALK AFTER SPIRIT. This in not a new teaching by Mr. Prince it is antinomianism a heresey as old as the New Testiment. Study to show your self approved unto God. Please beware of WOLFS in sheeps clothes. If I am wrong I lived my live striving to keep the words of Jesus and live a holy live and when I stand before a Holy God what will He say? You did have to do all that ! But if you are wrong who practice this message of antinomianism; the teaching of Mr. Prince, it will cost you your soul. READ ALL THE RED LETTERS OF JESUS.

  29. Daniel, I remember when I used to believe like you. But today, I believe the Good News is actually good news according to God’s measure (not mine). I wouldn’t dare minimize what Jesus did by boasting about what I should be doing. I don’t have to turn away from my sins because Jesus “turned me” away from sin. Because of that my heart aches to live right and please Abba Father. I would never go back to trying to establish my own righteousness. It takes the enjoyment out of my relationship with Him. Give me grace, grace, and more grace! I don’t know about you, but I’m having a ball. Life is an adventure now. I pray and see results. I don’t have to deal with all that stuff anymore because my life is hid with Christ in God! I’m abiding brother. You ought to try it.

  30. The problem with Joseph Princes teaching is that while he makes many great statements which I can agree with, there are also many statements that cannot be supported by the majority of scriptures, he like other teachers today us a small number of scriptures to support their doctrine and avoid the majority of scriptures that say the opposite, this is true of all OSAS teachers, one interesting article is found by searching google with “charisma magazine joseph prince” and looking at the article “Is Joseph Prince’s Radical Grace Teaching Biblical?” or google “evangelical outreach joseph prince” don’t agree with all points but good place to start. Also anyone who just simply wants to spend the time doing word studies from the Bible on the statements of Joseph Prince, will become amazed at how many of his statements are refuted the majority by scripture, I personally have spend hours doing this and have learnt much.

    • Scripture is the whole bible not verses taken out of it , I can find hundreds of verses to refute any teaching from any man, this is how the bible is designed. I have spent many hours doing this. The bible offers what you search for.

  31. Sometimes we look at the love we have for God and for what He is. Yes, we should think on our love for Him. Yet the more important focus is really on His love for us.
Pastor Prince is, in my opinion, an anointed preacher. He simplifies his messages and frequently shares wonderful insights even into those stories we’ve all heard before. His enthusiasm is obvious as is his passion for promoting the name of Jesus and also the Gospel. His books are solid and most interesting especially, ‘Destined To Reign’.
Like most preachers, not everything he says can be agreed upon. Yet he is plain when he says to check out what he says and not just take his word for it.
Never realized I’d been waiting a long time to hear someone with teachings like this.
Time to get excited about the Gospel again.

  32. Hmmm. I could see the Intense arguments in this comment section. Praise the lord. Now I could clearly discern the pure grace preachings and mixed law-grace preachings. Now whenever i watch law preachings either by TV or directly it just like watching Funniest videos. The way they inter relate the bible verses seems ridiculous and crazy. But the innocent believers listening to them without knowing what those preachings really is, makes me sad. I hope one day everyone will escape to the reality of god’s pure grace! Amen.

    • “Grace is said to be perfected or finished in holy practice, as therein it is brought to its proper effect, and to that excercise which is the end of the principle; the tendency and design of grace herein is reached, and it’s operation completed and crowned. As the tree is made perfect in the fruit; it is not perfected in the seed’s being planted in the ground; it is not perfected in the first quickening of the seed, and it’s putting forth root and sprout; nor is it perfected when it comes up out of the ground; nor is it perfected in bringing forth leaves; nor yet in putting forth blossoms: but when it has brought forth good ripe fruit, when it is perfected, therein reaches its end, the design of the tree is finished: all that belongs to the tree is completed and and brought to proper effect in the fruit. So is grace in its practical excercises. Grace is said to be made perfect or finished in its work or fruit..”
      Jonathan Edwards ‘Religious Affections’

James 2:22 “Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?”

Matthew 12:33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.”

Galatians 5:22-24 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

  33. Hey I’ve been reading these comments and wondering if they would end one day,I love pastor Prince But I believe his grace teaching comes with a deeper maturity to understand him in a scriptural context failure to do that can result lawlessness.

  34. Here is my testimony:am a young minister of the word of GodI was born in Africa,I got born again at 14years old, I knew nothing about what salvation was all about,my first conversation with God was right after I got born again:lord I know am a sinner I don’t wana disapoint you because you are good and am bad, please take your word which is hard for me to follow and leave me alone I’ll be fine. After that I heard nothing about him again I lived according to my fleshy nature(but was happy in my sinfulness) and it just happened one day I felt into a deep serious depression I felt worthless since I moved in another African country the loneliness was too deep, then I heard the lord’s voice he said to me sing(after he dropped some lyrics in my heart of THE CROX and his BLOOD and His LOVE)I closed myself in my bathroom and began to sang, his manifested presence filled that room,he never convicted me of my sins nor my failure but revealed to me his love I wept for he cam to me as I was the full message of salvation was instantly revealed to me all I felt was his love I don’t remember confessing my sins but his goodness after I left the room I Knew I was blamelessa, righteous holy because of the lamb that was slain for me,sin becam my enemy all I wanted to do is to remain in my dady’s harm I call that GRACE.

  35. See Peter and Paul had moments in life where they contradicted their own views and disagreed highly with each other though both of them were filled with the same Holy-Spirit. So my dear fellow believers debating in this blog, please understand that the debate that you are having has nothing to do with ‘Law’. It’s only the common opinions of interpretations of the Word in the New Testament.
It’s JP regretfully, who has given the impression in the believer world that there are ‘Law’ preachers and ‘Grace’ preachers. Woe unto them who cause a division!

    • Jesus said people would divide themselves by their response to truth and people have have certainly divided themselves by their response to Jesus. Yet it would not be fair to say that Jesus causes division. Nor is it fair to accuse JP of being divisive. Personally, I am grateful that he preaches the truth of the glorious gospel that makes men free. If some choose to reject that gospel, he can hardly be blamed.

  36. Thumbs up!

Wow! Thank you for posting that! You just helped to change my thought pattern from feeling defeated to Victory in Christ. Thank you again so much!

  38. Great news

  39. We are basically a “churchless” family–we are the church and worship, minister and partake of the Holy Communion in our home. No longer will we be under the yoke of bondage in ministries who insist on desecrating the sacrifice of Jesus. There are no churches in our town or within a reasonable distance that preach the pure message of Grace. I sat under condemnation (in many different churches) my whole life as a believer (over 45 years) and until I listened to Pastor Prince, whose anointed words set me and my family free, I will not step foot into a mixture church. Paul, your church is in California and we live in Georgia otherwise we would be there next Sunday. If you know of, and could recommend any churches who preach the true Gospel message in Georgia or within a reasonable distance, I’d love to know. God Bless you on your ministry to the church.

    • Hi Terry. I read your post and had to comment. I started listening to Joseph Prince years ago and he literally saved my life. It was bittersweet because I had to say no to any church not preaching pure grace.

Then I found Northlands Chruch in Norcross, GA. I included a link to our website. This church was a gift to me from the Father himself.

Please come visit if you are close to Norcross, GA. We also have live services on Sunday and you can listen to messages online.

God bless you and your family!

Ooh! my, ooh! my oh! my. You must have been sent on my way by God to help me understand grace, for we live in the helm of God’s grace which is much more abundant and suffiect as many have reluctantly refused it. It time to have excess.

  42. Joseph Prince has the most extensive understanding of the Gospel of Grace, of any preacher in our time. That’s God’s #1 preacher on earth right now. Anyone who hasn’t heard JP teach, is missing out on a life changing experience. That man has been given a supernatural understanding of scriptures, unlike any preacher I’ve heard. Thank the Lord for raising him up. I’ve heard hundreds of his sermons and it baffles me the kind of revelations he has been given by the Lord. And he’s funny dude too. lol

  43. Tanks so much for 20 message, really make huge change, in all practice d word of God strengthened the believer

  44. I really feel sorry for anyone who hears Joseph Prince preach or reads his books just to pick apart what he says. What I am learning from Pastor Prince in his books and sermons is the best thing that ever happened to me. If a person hears his message but is not teachable that person is really missing out. I am fortunate enough to be retired so I am able to saturate my mind with his beautiful message every day. I spend hours either reading his books, listening to his sermons, (which come to California during the night,) or reading his quotes on the Internet.

Hey awesome revelations pastor Prince. The annointed one of god to preach the gospel to the poor. And to reveal father’s heart for his children who believed his son Jesus. I’ve never seen anyone else (it doesn’t mean that, there won’t be) who preaches this much sound doctrine. So be bold & come closer to the father & his son our saviour by the word of god & the helping one holy spirit, who takes u to the place of ours where we supposed to be. Thanx and be blessed pastor Prince keep it up . And they will be saying on something or something else.
