The Gospel in Avengers: Endgame?

I love the gospel and I enjoy watching movies. I love it when movies hint at the gospel, and there were some big hints in the latest Marvel film. Did you notice?

SPOILER WARNING: In a free article I’ve posted on Patreon, I talk about the Avengers: Endgame movie. If you haven’t seen the movie and you want to, do NOT read this article. Seriously. Go see the movie first. If you’re a Marvel fan, you’ll love it.

But if you have seen the movie and are ready to read on, here’s the link to the full article. Enjoy!

  1. I like your style, keep up the good work!

  2. my 1st post here! just found SJNS! im 46 been suffering with neck/back injuries, insomnia, fatigue, and a host of other health issues. wthey started when i was in my late teens and a pastor told me god was doing these things to “set me on the right path” from partying with friends and having sex with girls (sex, drugs, & rock n roll). ive been on a near 30 struggle with suffering, pain, law, and performance that never works. its made me hate god but scared to death of him to perform properly. im afraid to enjoy anything in/of the world (like movies) or god will get me again and harder everytime. im about to give up but found joseph prince and this page/site.

    • I dont think that the bible ever indicates that you cant watch entertaiment. Also remember that God loves you very much, even if you dont “perform properly” in your opinion.
      Blessings!

  3. Im beat down in life with circumstances anytime I try to do anything fun like watch a movie or listen to non christian music or watch WWE or UFC events. Im so scared of god. He keeps saying none of tyhat stuff is important only your relationship with jesus christ is. so im only allowed to read/listen to the word, pray, suffer and figure out how im going to get by (adam ate the apple, those who dont work dont eat, by the sweat of brow, god doesnt just give people money). Then he keeps me nice and busy with honest christian suffering and then i dont “have fun in the wrong way” and watch a worldy move like Avengers. and if I try to break out and think its ok, an overwhelming emptyness hits me as i try to watch the movie, then my physical symptoms flare up and i just give up and go back to suffering and trying to find god or Jesus. im disabled and poor and beat down with “what are gonna do? how are u gonna get by” every moment of evetyday.
