Great page with all the subjects.!
One question: Dispensationalists affirm that the New covenant is just for the jews people, in the Millennium, because of the promise in Jeremiah. Can you explain more about why we as Christian are under the same covenant? Thank you
I have never met anyone who believes this – you are the first. How do we know the new covenant is for all? We might just as easily ask, how do we know Jesus died for all? Answer: because the Bible says so in many places. “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29) World means “Jews + Gentiles”. “This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many” (Matt. 26:28) Many means “Jews + Gentiles”.
But technically, the new covenant only includes those Christ. “This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time” (Heb. 8:10). Here Israel refers to all believers, whether Jew or Gentile (Rom. 2:28–29, 4:11). It does not mean the nation of Israel (Rom. 9:6).
The apostles would not have traveled to the Gentiles unless the good news of the new covenant was for all.
