Merry Christmas from the Shaky Isles

As you may have heard, one of New Zealand’s many volcanoes erupted last week killing more than a dozen tourists plus a couple of local tour guides. It was a tragedy and a reminder that our time on earth is short. So make the most of it this Christmas. Treasure your families. Make memories. Live fully. Love deeply. Tell your kids about Jesus, who remains the Reason for the Season.

This year has been a challenging and shaky one for us. But we come to the end of it full of gratitude and hope, knowing God is our solid rock in uncertain times. And because of his unchanging faithfulness, we are confident that the coming year will be awesome.

What’s in store for 2020? Here are three things to look forward to:

1. UPDATED DATE: April 5, 2020. If you’re in New Zealand, keep this date free for the official book launch of The Chocolate Gospel. And as we never had an official launch for Letters from Jesus, we’ll include that one too.

2. The Women’s Book. (Sorry, I don’t have a better title yet.) I am super-excited about this one. Draft chapters for my next book are already going up on Patreon, and I will post short extracts here on E2R as well.

3. In a few weeks, Escape to Reality will be ten years old! As we approach this anniversary I have been praying for wisdom about the future. What’s next? More of the same or something different? (If you have suggestions, I’d love to hear them.) In any case, we will celebrate the milestone with some big giveaways. Stay tuned. UPDATE: Check out my big hairy audacious goal for the coming decade!

Gratitude is the language of faith and it’s a language I aspire to master. As always, I am grateful that I get to tell people the good news of Jesus. I am grateful to you for reading and sharing what I write. I am grateful to everyone who takes the time to comment, whether it’s to tell me how my words have changed their lives or how I quoted the wrong scripture! And I’m grateful to our supporters and partners who make it all possible. In particular, I would like to thank the following patrons on Patreon:

Thank you for all you do Paul! I tell people about you and your writings all the time. I vote for you to continue doing what you do. It is truth and it aspires me! I will certainly be buying your book about women when it comes out. And I loved your book 70AD
    Blessings at Christmas and always.

    Dear Paul and Camilla,
I just purchased another 10 of The Gospel in 10 words to give away… The other day I was led to look up something in The Gospel in 20 Questions, and now I am not quite sure which one I will first promote…
They are just wonderful and I want to thank you from my heart for all the good stuff you are producing through E2R.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year from our Abba!

  9. I know that whatever you do, it will be a blessing to the People of God . . . Merry Christmas !!!

Happy New Year, Paul (E2R) … I very much appreciate the ministry you have been given. It has blessed me in so many ways!!

  11. God Bless you Paul and your family as he’s already done in Christ. As you grow personally and your ministry grows exponentially in 2020 (way beyond all ‘you camb ask or think’) do us all a favor, and keep free of religion and the hype and the tricks the enemy has used to subvert previous ministries. You are an eagle and you largely fly alone… keep free of the crowds not least because we (on E2R) all need you!. We love you bro.. 🙂
